THE solar panel REBATE IS HERE!
After the previous closure of the Solar rebate in Southern Australia, the wait is over as the new phase of rebates for Solar Panels is here for a limited time with an additional allocation of 23,000 rebates throughout 2019/20. September’s allocation of 6,500 will be released on Monday 2nd Sept.
The program encourages residents of the Victoria area to become more energy efficient whilst saving money on their energy bills. Tackling climate change is a major focus of the solar rebate, helping to provide a cleaner, brighter future for all.
Residents and homeowners living in the state of Victoria have access to a huge rebate of up to $2225 providing they meet the eligibility criteria for the scheme. So if you are a tenant, resident or homeowner, don’t miss out as the rebate won’t be around for long as is predicted to be in great demand.
THE CLOCK IS TICKING…
The rebate will be available in stages which means that not all applicants may receive the rebate if the scheme is oversubscribed in the first release and may have to be quick to enlist for the upcoming month. Additional stages of the rebate will be released in due course, but a ‘first come, first served’ approach to eligible households will apply.
Who can apply?
The scheme is open to all homeowners and tenants with a combined taxable household income of up to $180,000. Any home with a maximum value of $3 million is eligible to apply for the rebate.
